Mekar Bhuana Sourcing (formerly Mekar Bhuana Online Store) was founded by Putu Evie and Vaughan in 2010. Dedicated to helping Balinese instruments and dance costume makers sell their products in the global market, the profits from this platform serves to support Mekar Bhuana Centre’s ongoing projects and activities.

Putu Evie

DANCE DEPARTMENT
Director of Mekar Bhuana Centre and Mekar Bhuana Sourcing, Evie is a Balinese dancer and instructor from Sanur who has been dancing since she was three years old. She co-created the world's first commercial Balinese dance tutorial in 2010.

Wayan Pon Smara

GAMELAN DEPARTMENT
Originally from New Zealand, Vaughan has been living in Bali since 1997 and is the founder of Mekar Bhuana Centre and conceptor of Mekar Bhuana Sourcing. He is a Balinese gamelan researcher, writer and expert in classical and archaic Balinese gamelan.
