Description

This pair of beautiful bronze tubular bells are hit with wooden sticks and are part of Gamelan Gambuh, Semara Pagulingan and Pelegongan ensembles. These instruments are very rare, exceedingly difficult to make and very few bronze smiths produce them any more.

Mekar Bhuana’s research and interest in rare instruments has encouraged a small resurgence in custom production, making them now more readily available once more. (This comes with the mallet)
